Our Genetic Legacy is a nonprofit training young, BIPOC women how to preserve history using drone technology.

The directory was designed to highlight existing archaeological institutions on social media, while encouraging more organizations to adopt digital as an alternative form of outreach. In 2020, the directory became a major source for #museumathome .

Federal archaeologists had issues relaying the importance of preservation guidelines to grant applicants and contractors. The department needed a better way to inform and resolve common queries on their webpage, which would reduce application errors, misuse of funds and community disputes.
